Spring Weekend Retreat

Our spring retreat takes place in either May or June.  In 2022 the retreat was held at Seven Springs Holistic Retreats in the foothills of the Smokies right outside Maryville.

The 2023 Retreat will take place at Harrison Bay State Park between Chattanooga and Cleveland, TN.  The retreat is designed as a camping retreat with day only options.

THEME:  Mind. Body. Heart. Play.

Reawaken Your Inner Child with Play and Adventure

Set at beautiful Harrison Bay State Park (the first state park in TN), join us for a weekend of mind, body, and heart activities to bring out your inner child! All activities are suitable for everyBODY and plenty of choice will be offered to ensure you can choose activities that align with your intentions for the retreat.  Reawakening our inner child is crucial to finding wholeness as an adult.  Through Inner healing, from healing the child within to collective healing and facing our challenges, traumas and suffering to find a way through in community opens us to the possibility of transformation and healing past relationships.

LOCATION: Harrison Bay State Park at the Recreation Hall and adjacent firepit area
ACCOMMODATIONS: camping in Loop B sites B34, B35, B38, B39, B40-45 (you must reserve your own site)
ISLAND COVE INN is about 10 minutes away at the marina and has basic rooms
DAY COMMUTE: you may also choose to commute in each day from your home

MAY 4: everyone arrives/checks in by 6pEST; dinner at 7p then bonfire social from 8-930p

MAY 5:
830a: morning meditation/mindful movement circle (optional)
9a: breakfast
10a: opening circle
1130: kinrgy movement therapy
2-5p You Choose Your Activity: Kayaking, Yoga, StoryWeaving, Solo Time
530p: DINNER
630p: Bonfire and Night Activity on Lake Loop Trail

MAY 6:
830a: morning meditation/mindful movement circle (optional)
900a: breakfast
1000a: circle time
1230p: LUNCH
1:30p: afternoon of creative expression activities and play and solo time
730p: Bonfire (Theater of the Mind or Somatic Mirroring activity)

MAY 7: *note we will meet in Loop B on Sunday morning
530-7a: Sunrise meditation/mindful movement circle: welcoming the wild indigenous one (hot tea/coffee; face paints available)
7a-8a: solo time with prompts
930-1130: closing circle/ceremony
